PANN X-TRA is PANN's newest party team. Currently, the team is busy developing the ≤18 parties, of which the first edition at the end of 2023 was a great success. In addition, the team organises all 'extra' parties that fall outside our regular parties, such as a Silent Disco or a PANN event outside Utrecht. The team was set up at the beginning of 2023, giving you all the space you need to bring in your input!
What do we expect from you?
Together with the other Event Planners, you will be responsible for organising the X-TRA parties. This includes the decoration of the venue, activities for visitors, artist management and carrying out venue visits. In addition to preparation, you will be present during meetings and parties, alternating your role as coordinator or driver.
- You are available once or twice a month for a meeting in the evening;
- Together with the other Event Planners, you fix 4-6 parties a year;
- You are a night animal and don't mind working hard into the wee hours several times a year;
- You have good communication skills, both in business terms with the venues and with our visitors;
- You are preferably in possession of a driving licence B;
- Technical knowledge or experience connecting LED strips, octostrips, silent disco headphones or similar equipment is a plus;
- You will find a coordinating role at times just a fat challenge;
- You are enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy contributing to the LGBTQIA+ community. As part of the PANN volunteer group, you also commit when extra hands are needed during a volunteer activity or by volunteering occasionally for e.g. a scanning shift at one of the other (XL) PANN parties.
